Features:
OUTER CASING- Manufactured from thick gauge, corrosion resistant mild steel, powder coated for longevity and perfect finish.
INNER CONTAINER: - Fabricated from 99% pure copper & suitable for hard & soft water. Hydraulically tested for withstanding pressure up to 7.00 kg/cm2 (100 P.S.I.); three times the normal working pressure.
HEATING ELEMENT: - ISI marked, tubular, Mineral filled, and copper sheathed heating element utilized for rapid heating & high efficiency.
THERMAL INSULATION: - Vermin & moisture proof glass wool is filled between the inner container & outer casing which decreases heat loss and aids in saving electrical energy.
THERMOSTAT An ISI Thermostat switches off electric supply when temperature reaches a preset temperature value, and restarts water heater automatically when water temperature decreases from a preset value. The device is preset at 65°C.
THERMAL CUT OUT: It’s an additional safety device that works in case of thermostat failure. It cuts off the power supply and can only be reset manually once the water has cooled to a safe temperature; the device is preset at 90 ± 6°C.
PRESSURE RELEASE VALUE: - Prevents excess pressure builtup through inlet pipe.
FUSIBLE PLUG: - Two metal plugs which are provided for extra safety. it melts in rare events of failure of the above safety device. In multistoreyed buildings of area of low water pressure, it is advisable to use a vacuum relief value to save the inner container to collapse.
